
Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the mutual fund management and related investment services provided by Shanta Asset Management Limited. By using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions
1.1 "Company" refers to Shanta Asset Management Limited, an asset management company registered in Bangladesh that manages mutual funds.
1.2 "Client" refers to any individual or entity receiving mutual fund or investment services from the Company.
2. Services
2.1 The Company provides mutual fund management and related investment services to its clients.
2.2 The Client understands that investing in mutual funds involves inherent risks. The Company does not guarantee profits or protection against losses.
3. Client Responsibilities
3.1 The Client must comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations related to mutual fund investments and financial transactions in Bangladesh.
4. Confidentiality and Data Protection
4.1 The Company will maintain the confidentiality of client information in accordance with applicable data protection laws in Bangladesh and ensure that all personal and investment-related information is handled securely.
5. Risk Disclosure
5.1 The Client acknowledges the risks involved in investing in mutual funds and other investment products managed by the Company.
5.2 The Company will provide periodic updates to the Client regarding their investment performance and related information as part of its services.
6. Fees and Charges
6.1 There are no fees or charges for investing in mutual funds, except for an exit fee applicable on early redemption of SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) investments and the CDBL fee applicable for holding units in demat form.
6.2 Any revision to the exit fee will be communicated to the Client in advance.
7. Compliance with Laws
7.1 Both the Company and the Client shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to mutual fund management and investment activities in Bangladesh.
8. Termination
8.1 Either party may terminate the service agreement in accordance with the terms stated in the Account Opening Form and applicable Mutual Fund Rules.
9. Governing Law
9.1 These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh.
